A short film made by students from the Lone Buffalo Foundation English Development Centre in Phonsavan, Xieng Khouang Province, NE Laos for the Cinemasports Mill Valley Film Festival event.

The story 'spins' back from Mr Kone getting congratulated by his classmates to when he was a lazy student, late for class, taking money ('bread') from his mother, using his phone in class, missing the national anthem and encouraging others to smoke after school. A revenge beating by a rival gang (and a 'roar' from his girl friends) is the last straw for Kone. He sees the error of his ways as the story 'spins' back to the present where we see the reformed Mr Kone awarded a present by his schoolteacher for being a good student.
